Client

Our client is a gaming start-up from Bucharest focused on original mobile games.

Role

The Unity Game Developer will be actively involved in the creation of games with a global audience and you will be part of an outstanding group of people that includes some of the most experienced people in Romania’s gaming industry.

This role is for someone who has solid computer science knowledge, experience with game engines and technologies and a passion for making games.

Responsibilities

• Define the architecture and implement in Unity/C# various game features in accordance with the game design.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists and other game developers to define the best technical architecture for each feature.
• Work with backend developers to define APIs for various features.
• Participate with your own ideas and feedback in shaping up the game experience

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in game development, with a proven track record of shipping games using either Unity or various C++ engines.
• Familiarity with Unity, either from on-the-job experience or from personal projects,
• Good knowledge of C++ and/or C#.
• Strong knowledge of programming fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, design patterns, OOP, etc)

Nice to have

• Job experience with Unity, including launched games
• Strong C++ knowledge
• Experience working on live mobile games
• Personal gaming projects
