Job Java Developer @ Wedosoft

We are looking for a cool Middle Java Developer eager to work in an interactive team and on big projects. We are looking for someone that puts value on learning and doesn't say no to a virtual drink.

Project Description:

The project is a data visualisation, analytics and custom reporting platform, with a powerful and user-friendly interface. Also, it uses geospatial visualisation and advanced analytics technology to help insurance professionals better understand property risk exposure in real time.

Skills needed

• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms;
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns;
• Good insight of Java and Spring internal processes (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc);
• Excellent knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MemSQL, Cassandra);
• Experience in the Spring Framework;
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Spring MVC, JSF, Wicket, GWT);
• Experience with test-driven development.

Experience:

2+years of hands-on web development experienc

Your responsibilities at wedosoft

• Designing and implementing Java-based applications;
• Analysing user requirements to inform application design;
• Defining application objectives and functionality;
• Aligning application design with business goals;
• Developing and testing software;
• Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise;
• Producing detailed design documentation;
• Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.
