You'll need to help build the reputation of our brands by being a recruiting powerhouse who really believes in giving people an amazing experience throughout the recruiting process and understand that you'll need to build a relationship with the communities around us while meeting our growth goals.
Duties
- Help consistently scale the company
- Partner internally to identify hiring priorities
- Identify talent through inbound and outbound techniques and creative sourcing channels (e. g. social networking, internet research, LinkedIn, boolean search, regular networking at events, Lever, etc.)
- Author content for recruiting and marketing outreach for our brand, including social media posts, newsletters, event materials, informational materials for schools and community groups, etc. You should be comfortable with being on camera, networking, and coming up with ideas for content.
- Establish and own relationships with relevant groups and developer communities
- Track goals, metrics, and performance of recruiting goals
- Hire and contract talent globally for a variety of roles
- Optimize the performance of job listings
- Create and own a positive candidate experience by developing and maintaining strong relationships with regular touchpoints and diligent follow-through
- Become an expert in our company, culture, and value proposition to excite and convert prospective candidates
- Help create and negotiate offers
- Own the recruiting process
Requirements
- Must have worked as a solo recruiter or be incredibly entrepreneurial - there is not a recruiting department and teams of hiring managers - only you!
- Have helped rapidly grow a team at a small company before
- Be based in Austin or Texas Triangle
- Must have helped rapidly scale up a company previously
- A strong understanding of creative, marketing, and technical agency roles
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Minimum 1 year as an in-house recruiter and minimum of 1 year as an agency recruiter
- Communicate professionally, tactfully, and with the utmost diplomacy at all times, treating all candidates with dignity and respect but also going above and beyond to make recruiting for our company a desirable experience
- Comfort with content creation
- Be a loop closer
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
- Have demonstrated experience executing a full-cycle recruiting process
- Have an exceptional customer service focus combined with exemplary follow-through
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills with no fear of cold calling, networking, and public speaking
- Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced changing work environment while prioritizing multiple functions and managing time efficiently
- Effectively influence and drive toward results in a fast-paced environment
- Be metric-driven and have an ability to make data-driven decisions
- Offer creativity in problem-solving, resourcefulness across all stages of the hiring cycle
- Demonstrate excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Showcase a defined method of organization
